Tamil Nadu Fundamental Rules – Rule 85 Fundamental Rules – SPECIAL CASUAL LEAVE – Extending the Special Casual Leave to Government servants for certain infectious diseases in the house on production of medical certificate -Amendment – Issued Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR-II) Department

The following notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette:-
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 read with Article 313 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Fundamental Rules.
2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 24th February 2017.
In the said Fundamental Rules, in Annexure VII referred to in ruling (3) under rule 85, under the heading “II.Special Casual Leave”, in rule 7, in sub-rule(a), in clause(ii),for Note 2, the following Note shall be substituted, namely:-
“2.The following diseases shall be treated as infectious diseases for the purpose of grant of special casual leave and special casual leave shall be sanctioned on production of certificate issued by the concerned authority, i.e. Municipality Health Officer or Corporation Health Officer or District Health Officer (DDHS), as the case may be, for the period noted against each disease:-
