Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces personnel highlight demands

Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association today decided to strongly oppose Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in the forthcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. They resolved that ex-Central Paramilitary Force, Veer Naris and their dependents would vote the BJP.

Talking to media-persons here today, the force leaders said that BJP was habitual of taking U-turn on all promises made during the election and through its manifestos. They added that well versed team would be sent to UP and Punjab to motivate the voters not to vote BJP but Samajwadi Party in UP and the Congress in Punjab.

They said an invitation was being extended to all former Central Paramilitary Forces personnel, Veer Naris and dependents of all the States of the country to reach Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on July 31, 2016 to wake up Modi led Union Government to refrain from disparity, discrimination, division of forces and be dauntless while granting the pay and perks to the ELDERS (Defence Forces) and YOUNGER (CPF) brothers.

The boiling and burning issues as discussed in the press conference regarding their genuine fundamental rights included: One Rank One Pension; Ex-servicemen status; Martyr status (if not in the books of law, an act can be enacted); Revision of pension of pre-2006 retirees; Equal duty, equal wages; Separate Pay Commission for Central paramilitary forces; Medical facility like ECHS and CGHS; Medical Allowance of Rs 3000; CSD facilities; Simplification of rules for granting pension; and exemption of Central Paramilitary Forces from the NPS besides others.

Those present in the press conference included president Shashi Sharma, vice president Dalip Singh, secretary Mohinder Singh, Member K S Thappa, Ayum Khan, Sher Mohd, Chhikar Singh, general secretary Madan Lal, Members Noor Mohd, Harinder Kour, Prito Devi, Vijay Pandita and Veena Devi.

    right decision at right time..may paramilitary pers get their dues..all p-ay cmsn are always directed to Ias n DEFENCE forces..no one even cares abt bsf ,itbp, crpf , assam rifle..these forces r living in pathetic condition….n govt has reduced their status worse thn mercenaries
