Haryana relaxed age limit in jobs for un-regular staff
The Haryana Government has decided to give relaxation of five years in the maximum age limit to all un-regularised employees working in any medical institution of the state or the Central Government. With this concession, such employees would be able to apply for regular jobs up to the age of 47 years.
Disclosing this after he presided over a meeting of the department here today, the Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij, said that the decision would benefit employees belonging to 13 categories, including staff nurses, multi-purpose health workers, lab technicians and store keepers.
At another meeting with senior officers of different departments on making Haryana drugs-free, Mr Vij issued directions to the Health Department to draft a proposal for recruitment of clinical psychologists for smooth functioning of the de-addiction centres in the state. While 13 de-addiction centres are functional in the state, more would be opened in all districts, he added.
The Health Minister said that activities of the de-addiction programme would soon be made available online and all forms would be made available on the website of the department.
