Hope 7th pay commission will give justice to secondary school teachers (High School Teachers) in regards pay band and grade pay. Because, to be eligible to be secondary school teacher one needs 50% marks in graduation along with TET and B.Ed degree and receives salary under Pay Band-2, Grade Pay- 3300. Whereas being simple graduate one can apply for the post of BDO ( Pay Band -3, Grade Pay-4700) under Gram Panchaayt Department,Assam Govt. Previously, there was no such huge difference between salary of Subject Teachers and Graduate Teachers. But the last 6th Pay Commission though redressed the grievances of Subject Teachers by promoting them into Pay Band -3 with Grade Pay -5100 but did not pay importance to Graduate Teachers. So I hope this time our ( Graduate Teachers) interest will be taken into consideration in the interest of justice and equity. Thanking the dignatories of 7th Pay Commission anticipating timely and favourable submission of report.

Hope this 7th pay commission will hike allowances like HRA,MA with full justified way. Because in some places particularly in kokrajhar house rent becomes very high and the allowance we are getting in 6th pay commission is very negligible compare to todays hike in house rent. And in Medical expenses becomes very costly now a days. Hope to look after these allowances seriously which are very essential for every human being.

The post of the Post Graduate Teacher should upgraded in to pay band 4. Existing pay scale of PGT is less than most of Graduate level service

Honourable 7th pay comissoin Assam. Its a matter of greate sorrow that we are the intermadiate teachers having graduations setving in different amalgamated senior madrassas in Assam are drawing intermadiate scales.Whereas all the intermadiate teachers having graduations in different amalgamated high schools in assam are provided graduate scales since 1993.But we are still deprived from this benefit ,though we are having graduations even PG degree also. Therefore we request and hope that the present pay comission would take into consider our demund and provide us graduate scales in the next pay revission.

With thnks yours faithfully ,yousuf Ali .A/t-Deorail sr madrassa .Badarpur.Karimganj.In fabour of All Assam madrassa intermadiate teachers association.

Tarun Gogoi had justified the 6th pay revision as it is today by asking the work culture of employees of Assam.Though he had declared at the holy floor of assembly that he would at least one rupee more than the pay of CG employees. But later, declared to pay at the same rate of CG employees. What a shame attitude of Tarun Gogoi ! He is also a son of a deprived teacher. He forgot the mastery of school teachers. He encouraged the workers not to be serious in their task by approving the low work culture and paying much low salary. The employees insist to work less as the salary was granted considering the work culture. It is true that a few employees do not render their task as sought. But,these workers must not be the role model in revising the pay. In Assam the l.p. ,up high school teachers, drivers,LDA,etc are kept pay band 2. Bay band 2 has the basic pay range 5200 to 20,000.Where as the Lp teachers of CG had the pay range from 9400 – 34000.Pay band 2 of CG included the peons ,chowkiders etc.Assam govt kept the even graduate teachers of high school in the pay range of chowder, peons of CG.This is the example of equal rates to the CG employees. The Assam govt does not give least importance of teachers who are considered to be the social engineers,BACk bone of a nation. Practically, the political leaders corrupted whole of the society neglecting the primary teachers. They are busy to harbour their personnel huge property for their next 7th generation. They do not feel patriotic attitude to this land. The pay which is given today ,might be appropriate to live in honour and dignity in the society if there have little corruption. The essential commodities are high cost manifold than the actual price. The cost of a kg of Potato goes to Rs.25 to Rs.40 The cultivation gets only Rs 5/- for a kg of Potato. Therefore ,there are huge profit go to the merchants.Merchants of course, share the profits among the ministers. Each product is sold under the syndicates controlled by the ministers. The royalty to the govt.treasury also decree much due to corruption. The nature of govt of today’s is for these autocratic goons established in assembly. We must not dream fair pay and salary from such govt. This is like the paradise of fools to dream good life ahead.

The salary of the employees should be based on the qualification they possess.Equal qualification should be provided with equal salary.Hope this 7th pay commission will consider this aspect and do justice to the employees.

ITS NOT ONLY SALARY . GOVT SHOULD TAKE EFFECTIVE MEASURES TO PROVIDE INFRASTRUCTURE AND OTHER FACILITIES SO THAT EMPLOYEES ENJOY WORKING RATHER DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF NEGATION. PRICE OF ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES , HOUSING, HEALTH , SANITATION MUST BE MADE AFFORDABLE BY ALL THE EMPLOYEES WITH THE SALARY THEY GET.EACH EMPLOYEE INCLUDING THEIR DEPENDANTS SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE SO THAT ALL TYPES OF AILMENT CAN BE COVERED. NO POWER POLITICS SHOULD BE PLAYED IN POSTING PERSONS AND ALL SHOULD AVOID UNDUE TRANSFER AND POSTING. EFFORT AND EMPHASIS SHOULD BE MADE TO USE THE SERVICE OF THE EMPLOYEES INTO CONFIDENCE. EMPLOYEES SHOULD ALSO GIVE WHOLEHEARTED SUPPORT TO THE GOVERNMENT AND THE STATE AND WORK FOR THE FUTURE OF THE STATE AS A WHOLE. IF WE INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY , GOVT WILL CERTAINLY BE IN CONVENIENT POSITION TO ACCOMMODATE THE GRIEVANCE OF ITS EMPLOYEES. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE THAT TEACHERS SHOULD BE PAID ADEQUATELY AS THEY ARE THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUILDING THE BASE OF THE SOCIETY. TEACHERS SHOULD BE GIVEN AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO UNDERGO FREQUENT TRAINING , RESEARCH ETC SO THAT THEY CAN UTILISE THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN MAKING EDUCATION LIVELY . SELECTION OF TEACHERS SHOULD BE PURELY BASED ON MERIT AND THOSE WITH EXTRAORDINARY BRILLIANCE SHOULD BE TAPPED INTO THE PROFESSION AND THEY SHOULD PROTECTED WITH FINANCIAL SECURITY AND SOCIAL SECURITY SIO THAT THEY CAN DEVOTE THEMSELVES TO THE BUILDING THE FUTURE OF THE NATION.
